Hi there, I’m Ashley Kendall Jones!

I’m a writer in sunny Southern California.

By day, I am a technical writer (writer of manuals and buisiness software applications requirements) for places like NASA and NBC.

After a day’s work, I work towards my goal of writing a novel!

My favorite authors are Kristin Hannah, Frederick Backman, and Mitch Albom. I love curling up on the couch with a cozy novel recommended by a friend.

I have two published poetry books about my journey with cancer. The first one, Yet, Praise, I self-published on Amazon.

The second one, The Miracle & The Mending, I published through a wonderful local publishing house called Gold Script Co.

Alongside writing, I have had the honor of teaching a few writing workshops at our local hospital, City of Hope. I also do spoken word performances around the area. It’s been a fun and meaningful adventure.
