Ashley Kendall Jones is a Southern California writer, poet, and aspiring novelist.
She currently works as a technical writer at NBCUniversal, where she was recruited after working as a technical writer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena.  
Her creative writing has appeared in The Sun Magazine, Darling Magazine, The Barren Magazine, and Sims Library of Poetry. She is also the author, under Ashley K. Jones, of two poetry collections, Yet, Praise and The Miracle & The Mending, which explore cancer, healing, resilience, and hope.
Ashley has taught writing workshops at City of Hope and performs spoken word throughout Southern California. She is currently writing her first novel.
Her favorite authors include Kristin Hannah, Fredrik Backman, and Mitch Albom. 
Outside of writing, Ashley is a swing dancer, a baker, and a lover of good company. She enjoys gathering around the table with friends and family, or settling onto the couch for an old episode of SpongeBob.
